Appco gets fundraising for The British Red Cross
A team of six volunteers from Appco Group Support took to Kentish Town tube station to shake buckets to help raise money and awareness for Red Cross Week, on behalf of long-standing charity partner, the British Red Cross.
The volunteers raised an impressive £155 for the British Red Cross in only a couple of hours. This amount
of money could provide 124 people with clean drinking water every day for a whole year, which just goes
to show every little bit, no matter how big or small, counts significantly to helping people in need.
Client Relationship Manager, Kazhal Berahnegard (pictured), said: "It's a great opportunity to engage with the public and drum up support for one of our longest-standing clients. It's also interesting to get an insight into what it's like to be a charity fundraiser and it makes you appreciate their dedication.”
Red Cross Week is the annual fundraising campaign for the British Red Cross where people across the UK join in to help raise awareness for the important work of the organisation.
