Appco UK client, HelloFresh, discusses face-to-face marketing in a profile for The Times

Appco UK was very proud to see HelloFresh, one of our clients, profiled in The Times this week. 

HelloFresh Managing Director Ian Marsh spoke to The Times about the company’s rapid expansion in the UK. Beginning with the idea of making healthy, home cooking easier for British consumers, HelloFresh grew from a tiny start-up, delivering bags of food from Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, to become a major player in the fresh produce industry, managing its own fresh fruit and vegetable supply chains.

Marsh said that one of the most difficult parts of the business was explaining the benefits of the delivery model to potential customers. For this, HelloFresh turned to Appco.

Appco UK has been working with HelloFresh to help expand their innovative business. Independent brand ambassadors within the Appco network have been speaking to people across Britain, explaining HelloFresh’s innovative services and finding new customers. 

As Marsh said, the HelloFresh model isn’t always easy to explain, which is perhaps why so many brand ambassadors have been receiving such good feedback from customers. One couple spoken to by Tinashe Sigauke was so appreciative that they took to twitter to voice their appreciation.

Dimitry Guenov was so polite and professional when explaining the benefits of HelloFresh to a customer in Bristol that she promptly offered him a job working for her. Both HelloFresh and the Appco network are pleased that he politely declined!
