Appco UK promotes renewable energy growth
Appco Group is supporting the UK government’s renewable energy projects by promoting free solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to households across the country.
Since June 2013, field sales representatives working with Appco Group UK have helped to sign up around 2,700 customers in the UK for free solar panel installations, which will collectively save them at least £17million on their electricity bills over the next 20 years*.
According to Appco client A Shade Greener, this has helped them to prevent more than 134,000 tonnes of CO2 from being emitted into the environment since the company began in 2010.
“It’s great to see so many people sign up for the free solar panel installations as we’re saving homeowners money, we’re supporting an independent business – A Shade Greener – and we’re protecting the environment so it’s a win-win situation for everyone,” said Nathan Brown General Manager Appco Group Solar.
A Shade Greener generates revenue from the government’s Feed-In Tariff scheme (FITs), which pays energy users for the renewable electricity they produce. In return, A Shade Greener provides households with solar power at no cost.
