Appco UK to use iPads in fundraising campaign with the charity Guide Dogs
Appco Group UK’s fundraising division is pleased to announce a brand-new campaign with the charity Guide Dogs that will pilot a specific ‘iPad-only’ concept. With a clear objective to enhance user experiences between donors and the charity, the campaign will also explore the possibilities of eliminating traditional form-filling processes.
The test period begins this week across four different locations – Colchester, Northampton, Glasgow, and Birmingham – and runs until late July.
As part of the campaign training process prior to launch, , professional face-to-face fundraisers were invited by Guide Dogs to learn all about how their fundraising efforts will help change the lives of people living with sight loss.
During their training, the fundraisers completed different tasks while wearing a pair of glasses that mimicked different eye conditions, giving them a taste of life with sight loss.
The visit was also an opportunity for the face-to-face fundraisers to learn first-hand about how the charity Guide Dogs makes a difference to people living with sight loss.
Six independent marketing companies sub-contracted by Appco UK will be taking part in what is surely going to be a successful campaign, and a glimpse into the technological future of face-to-face fundraising.
