As the major Series sponsor, FW1 promoted their brand at the event with a team of promo girls, and provided multimedia coverage of the Series through social media for fans who could not make the event.
Appco Group representatives were given behind-the-scenes access and a tour of the racing circuit by Aussie Racing Cars. One of the representatives, Craig Menzies, was given the honour of presenting the trophies to the winning drivers on the podium of the Gold Coast 600 in front of thousand of motor racing fans.
Lead drivers Trent Young, Kyle Clews, Peter Carr and Darren Chamberlin fought hard along the street circuit to gain advantage at every turn; however it was Trent Young who emerged victorious taking out the Round at the Gold Coast.
